I have absolutely no idea what to expect when attending a Comedy Dinner Show! Can you enlighten me?
The Dinner Shows are professional comedy interactive theatre where the audience (that’s you!) are the diners in a restaurant.
So, what is the format of the evening?
The show begins in the bar over pre–dinner drinks, where the audience are greeted by the characters. Then, when the time comes, you will be invited through into the restaurant where you will be served a three course meal.
The show is half–scripted and half–improvised by the actors, taking place around you whilst they eat. It references all the most famous bits from the original shows whilst having a narrative all of its own.
How long does the show last?
The show lasts for approximately two and half hours.
Is the show suitable for children?
Yes. The show is entirely “family friendly”.
Is there an interval?
No. There is no interval but you are free to get up whenever you like.
Will we be able to meet the cast after the show?
Yes. The cast will always return to the restaurant after the show to thank the audience and answer any questions.
Am I allowed to take photographs at the show?
Yes. Taking photographs is absolutely fine as long as you do not encroach upon the acting area.
Am I allowed to film the show?
No. Unfortunately, we do not allow the show to be filmed.

Can I book tickets through Comedy Dining?

Can we sit with other groups who have booked separately?
Yes. Please send an email with details, you can find all of our contact details here on the Contact page.
Will all members of our party be sat together?
Yes. Unless your party is so big that it requires more than one table, in which case you will be split across tables next to one another.
Is there a minimum/maximum number of tickets any one group can purchase?
No. There is no minimum/maximum number of tickets any one group can purchase.
Attending A Dinner Show
Frequently asked questions about attending a dinner show.
When should we arrive?
We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes prior to the advertised start time. This allows you ample time to “check in” and also enjoy a pre–dinner drink in the bar.
*The show itself will begin in the bar before moving through into the restaurant.
Are you able to do anything for someone who is celebrating a special occasion?

Will I be able to get in to see my show if I am late?
We will do our very best to accommodate you if you are late. However, please be aware that due to the nature of the show we are unable to alter the pattern of food service.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds to anyone who is unable to see their show due to being late, so please try to arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before your show starts.

What will be on the menu?
The ticket price will always include a three course meal.
Will special dietary requirements be catered for?
Yes. Please just let the venue know your requirements.
Do the actors mess around with the audience’s food?
No. At no stage of the show will anyone’s food be interfered with.
How do I go about ordering drinks during the show?
Please note this service may not be available at your venue, however, once everyone is seated inside the restaurant all drinks are table service only. You will only be able to order drinks from the venue’s staff and not from the cast members.
